A Visit to Goat Shine: Where Community, Care, and Cute Goats Come Together

At Security Bank & Trust Co., we love celebrating the amazing businesses and people that make our community special. Recently, a few of us had the pleasure of visiting one of our wonderful customers—Goat Shine, a charming goat farm run by Tracy and Ed. We left smiling, wanting our own pet goats, and with a new appreciation for the incredible work they do.

Goat Shine isn’t your typical farm. With over 90 Nigerian dwarf goats calling the farm home, Tracy and Ed have created a unique place where animals and people connect in meaningful ways. What started 20 years ago as a way to use goat milk to help their son’s skin condition has blossomed into a thriving, award-winning business. In fact, Goat Shine was recently honored as the “Farmfest Family of the Year,” a well-deserved recognition for their dedication to community and care.

Goat Shine’s impact goes far beyond farming. Their friendly goats visit senior living homes four to five days a week, bringing joy, comfort, and companionship to residents. On weekends, the goats are booked for a variety of events, including weddings, birthday parties, goat yoga sessions, and more—creating unforgettable memories with a playful twist.

Visiting Goat Shine was a reminder of the heart and soul that small businesses bring to our communities. Tracy and Ed’s passion for their animals and neighbors is inspiring, and we’re proud to support them as they continue to grow and thrive.

If you’re looking for a fun, unique experience or a way to brighten someone’s day, we highly recommend visiting Goat Shine or inviting their adorable goats to your next event. Thank you, Tracy and Ed, for all you do to enrich our community!
