Glencoe-Silver Lake Athletic Center
The Glencoe Silver Lake Booster Club had been fundraising for upgrades to the GSL Athletic Center since 2005. Collected funds from golf tournaments, pork chop dinners, plant sales, raffles, concession stands, memberships, local donors, and a $180,000 from Security Bank made this vision a reality in 2023.
The project includes a 20’ x 100’ pavilion shelter with concessions, 3 sets of dugouts, scoreboards, and fencing to complete the quad fields used for softball and baseball. The last phase of the project will be to eventually add lighting to be able to hold evening games and host tournaments.

Glencoe Regional Health
In partnership with the Hoese Family, Security Bank & Trust Co. assisted Glencoe Regional Health in carrying out its mission to provide superior healthcare to the residents of Glencoe and the surrounding areas with a $311,000 donation. Our contribution helped create new and improved spaces for transitional care patient/family lounge and respiratory therapy departments.
Local Sports Teams and Facilities
We’ve been a contributor to local baseball and football teams since 1978. In the past five years alone, SBTC donations have implemented field repairs and upgrades amounting to over $180,665. This included:
- New Scoreboard at Steven Seminary Stadium
- New Scoreboard for Brownton Baseball
- First-ever Field Lights for Plato Blue Jays Baseball
- Sponsorship of the MN State Amateur Baseball Tournament
- Completion of the 2019 Plato Blue Jays Grandstand Project

Ridgeview Medical Center
At Ridgeview Medical Center, it’s about kindness, compassion, and the commitment to bring the best care to every patient, every day. And Security Bank’s donation of $352,000 was able to assist in that mission.
The funds were used to purchase a MCC 7500 IP Dispatch Console, a highly intuitive software designed to ensure superior audio quality and prioritized emergency calls, regardless of call volume or traffic loading.
Glencoe City Center
We partnered with the Hoese Family to help bring a gathering space to our Glencoe community. What was once the Glencoe Middle School became the Glencoe City Center after years of planning and remodeling beginning in 2009. Our $300,000 donation pooled together with over 460 pledges from the community reached a total of over $1.5 million.
Today, you’ll find wedding ceremonies, concerts, class reunions, baby showers, birthday parties, and ag seminars all in one location.
