Yearly Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
The Trust Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing primary support to Trust Officers along with various routine and non-routine administrative support functions within the Trust Department.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all new, current and closed accounts have appropriate paperwork
- Execute timely and accurate correspondence with clients as necessary for administration of their accounts
- Organize and prepare for client meetings
- Assume responsibility as directed for routine fiduciary duties connected with an account when client dies
- Assist in the preparation of annual accountings for court
- Obtain written authorizations and directions necessary for distributions; purchases and sales in non-discretionary accounts
- Assist with annual reviews on assigned accounts
- Responsible for maintaining all trust customer filing as instructed by the Trust Officer
- Maintain and organize account files
- Perform miscellaneous assignments as needed including delivery of documents, typing and data entry
- Create graphs and charts for presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Assist Trust Officers with problem resolution and/or account maintenance and day-to-day operational issues
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Conduct oneself with a level of professionalism. Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients or vendors, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Proven ability to present information to groups or individuals in a confident and professional manner.
Other Skills/Abilities/Specifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point is required. Microsoft Outlook is helpful. Strong sales skills commensurate with knowledge and experience. Superior human relation skills. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and pressure. Self motivated ability to work consistently and productively under minimal supervision.
