Security Bank & Trust Co. is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with 5+ years of work experience as a portfolio manager who is ready to take ownership of various types of trust accounts and be an excellent communicator and team player to a dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in researching markets and analyzing fund opportunities. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling for real-world decisions, while collaborating closely with team members to deliver strategic insights and achieve portfolio objectives for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor asset allocation relative to policy and goals
- Conduct ongoing research regarding securities and market & economic trends
- Manage fixed income maturities and reinvestment
- Create reports on investment-related performance and activity and review for accuracy
- Monitor and implement investment models
- Complete trades to meet account objectives
- Monitor cash needs and meet deadlines to avoid account overdrafts
- Coordinate investment communication with administrators and their clients
- Attend client meetings
- Communicate with certain clients about their accounts, market conditions & economic trends
- Drafting of Investment memos for presentation to the rest of the investment team
- Responsible for annual investment reviews and monthly investment reports
- Ensure portfolios comply with investment guidelines and regulatory requirements
Education and Experience:
- Education: BA or BS required, MA or CFA: Preferred, but not required
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in portfolio management
