We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Teller to join our financial institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling various banking transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling, financial services, and retail math to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. The Teller will play a crucial role in building customer relationships and promoting additional services.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle cash operations, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including debits and credits.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on financial services offered.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all banking regulations and compliance policies.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is essential.
